She specializes in pearl and bead restringing, pearl knotting, repairing broken necklace and bracelets, clasp attachment or replacement, and other repairs at reasonable prices. Q: Where can I find Susan's shop?
A: I work from my home in Santa Monica, by appointment.
Q: How does it work?
A: Call, text or email me to tell me about the jewelry you need help with. I'll probably ask you to send a photo and I'll quote you a price if I can tell from the photo. We'll make an appointment for you to bring me your items.
Q: How quickly can I get the work done?
A: Usually, when you drop your jewelry off, we'll set up an appointment a few days later for you to pick it up. If it's an emergency, I can probably do it sooner.
Q: How much does she charge?
A: As of August, 2026, prices range from $20 to $200 and beyond, depending on the amount of work. A typical stretch bracelet restringing would be about $20. An 18-inch, knotted pearl necklace around $45. All this depends on a variety of factors such as size of beads, condition of item to be repaired, complexity of work, etc. Prices are subject to change.
