Although I love teaching students in person, and I think it's the best way to learn, there are some skills that are hard to remember after only one or two in-person demonstrations. So I decided to make a few videos to make it possible to see the demo, in my own words, over and over again, whenever needed.
Making a Knotted Necklace with Griffin Bead Cord
Bead Stringing Basics:
I taught 3 Bead Stringing techniques in this class: How to professionally finish beading wire (aka Nylon-Covered Wire) bracelets & necklaces with clasp and crimp beads, 4 ways to end off stretchy bracelets, & how to make a Memory Wire bracelet. This is the recording of that class.
More basic skill topics I plan to add in the (hopefully) near future:
- Wire wrapping
- Wire looping
- Macrame square knot
- Alternating half-hitch knot
- Warping a bead loom
- Kumihimo braiding
